Friends In The Community
Teens will now have the opportunity to take an important step towards independence by experiencing the responsibilities that come with having a real job. Each teen will be paired with a mentor for weekly meetings at various locations within the community where the teens will fill volunteer positions. With the help of a trained job coach, the teens will learn many new skills while at the same time gaining the satisfaction of knowing that they can make a difference in their community.
This program will take place in the evenings between 4:00 – 6:00pm or anytime on Sunday.
