Help make miracles happen @ LifeTown!
Friendship Circle was there, is there, and will always be there for the families and community. It was never a matter of IF. It was simply a question of HOW.
Throughout the pandemic Friendship Circle has continued to find ways provide innovative programming for children, teens, and young adults with special needs. We are committed to taking all precautions possible to keep everyone at LifeTown safe, while forging new friendships and fostering personal growth.
Over the past few months, we have offered countless opportunities for connecting, including:
- Expanded after-school programming, including a new art and cooking class that empowers participants to prepare their own dinner
- Interactive workshops designed specifically to address the mental health challenges and suicidal thoughts caused by the pandemic
- Family holiday and Shabbat celebrations
- Programming materials and supplies sent to participants ages 21 and older who are no longer able to attend FC programs in person, to enable them to participate in regular virtual activities
To ensure that we can continue providing these invaluable programs and services, we need to raise $100,000 before the end of the year!
If we have learned anything from the past year, it’s that the only way to move forward is TOGETHER.
